The fruit was sourced from the Riverland region, east of the Barossa Valley and stretching across the Murray River, this region is known for it's warm Continental style climate which provides long sunny days, cool temperate nights which assist in providing this quality fruit.
With it’s ancient red soils and water sourced from one of Australia's largest river systems, the Riverland is well suited to a large number of varieties The fruit was transported to our Buronga Hill Winery for processing and clarification before being transferred to our Hunter Valley Winery for vinification.
The fermented wine was then racked off yeast lees before heat and cold stabilising. After this the wine was lightly fined and filtered before bottling.
