Overview

Located on the south west slopes of NSW the Hilltops is considered a cool climate region that produces red wines of elegance.

In a region that is well suited to the Tempranillo variety, the vines were grown on their own root stocks and the fruit was machine harvested in the cool of the morning.

Upon arrival at our Hunter Valley Winery, the machine harvested fruit was crushed, destemmed and transferred to open top potters for fermentation.
