Key to the production of quality MID ABV wines is our 20+ years experience in No and Low wine production using Spinning Cone Column technology. We start the process with a uniquely rich full-alcohol wine that is made specifically for our alcohol-removed wine programs at our state-of-the-art Buronga Hill winery in NSW.
More time and energy is spent on this stage of our signature method than any other to ensure, after the alcohol is removed, the alcohol-removed wine retains as much of the original wine’s varietal flavours and aromas as possible. Once our winemakers are happy with the base wine, the cutting-edge spinning cone technology gently extracts alcohol from these specific base wines.
Then using our winemaker experience and skillset, different parcels of wines from different regions and different styles are blended together to create MID ABV wines that are true to style and varietal.
